Project 1 - Online Forum Discussion
The first project in this module requires us to investigate and collect information regarding the Temple Of Zeus in Olympia to learn up historical facts, architectural design and concepts. Information from websites and library books are compiled together in a form of a research document individually by parts.
Year of production: 2014.
From this project, I learned many things and deepen my understanding regarding Greek architecture. On the other hand, working together and sharing information among each other as a group not only improved the quality of the work, but also constitute to a greater team dynamics and is another way friendships are built along the way. Moreover, it greatly inspire me how history lessons can teach so much regarding architecture from the story behind the building.
Project 2 - Analysis Presentation Board
Tasked to produce an A2 sized building massing analysis presentation board. This project was strictly restricted to hand drawn and hand-written.
Based on my research, I learned that the Greeks are people that are very particular in proportions. This also gave me some insights regarding how it can be applied to architecture buildings in the present. On the other hand, I also realized the importance of how an exterior should be visually appealing to the eyes by the Greeks by implying the entasis. All in all, I learned more regarding the choice of materials, the way the temple is built and how beliefs and philosophy influenced the architecture of a society.

Project 3 - 3D Abstraction Model
A 3D Abstraction model of Temple Of Zeus, Olympia are to be produced. The most significant and relevant parts and details are shown and extracted and simplified in order to express the important and noteworthy design concept analysis of the building.

Working together as a group improved our communication with each other as teammates. Besides that, learning to work with Balsa wood gave me a better experience and will provide me a wider knowledge in terms of knowing on how to work with materials in the future. Lastly, needing to deliver a speech and explaining certain details and the importance of the 3D model, gave me an oppurtunity to greatly improve my presentation skills as well.
