Part A (Group): Presentation Board
Objectives:
-Conduct an architectural analysis on a selected building from a modern master given
-Analysis covers Spatial organization, Structure, Materials & Construction, Components, Massing / Form and The external façade


We formed a group of 6 and chosen Gropius House by the modern master, Walter Gropius.

Part B (Individual): Analytical Essay
Objectives:
- Conduct an architectural analysis on a selected building from a modern master given
- Analysis covers answering the ‘why’ questions to further understand the underlying concepts and philosophy of the Modern Masters by using the physical evidence gained from group analysis.
- Write a comparison analytical essay (1500 words)
Learning Outcomes:
- Learned to identify some of the issues involved in the interrelationship between theory and design as exemplified in various historical periods and places.
- Learned to differentiate the way in which many varied factors contribute to the development of form.
- Learned on how architects have used architectural language in various historical periods and places by comparing.
